Richard Osman, born in 1970 in Billericay, Essex, is a multifaceted talent known for his sharp wit and profound versatility. He studied politics and sociology at Trinity College, Cambridge, before launching a successful career in television and media. Best known as the co-presenter and creator of the hit TV quiz show "Pointless," Osman has also made notable strides as a producer, writer, and comedian. Apart from his TV success, he has authored best-selling novels like "The Thursday Murder Club," showcasing his flair for storytelling.

When he's not captivating audiences with his on-screen charisma or literary prowess, Richard enjoys indulging in his passion for football and board games.

One of my favorite books of all time! One of the few books out there that is genuinely funny without being overkill or contrived.
The narrative style is also enjoyable and keeps the reader intrigued until the very end. Osman succeeds in weaving every event and side plot into one easy to read novel, and also somehow manages to delve deeper into the feelings of his characters in a way that is thoughtful - creating well-developed and realistic characters.

Very well written, riveting and one of those "couldn't put it down" books. Enjoyed the plot. Looking forward to reading the The Man Who Died Twice.
